I bring Method to the Innovation Madness! This is what I offer:
- I give keynotes and speeches on how companies can perform better with their development processes
- I offer small courses with a lecture often in combination with practical exercises, or larger bespoke courses
- I facilitate workshops when companies need to answer new challenges with new ideas.
This is something I do in addition to my daytime job. After 28 years with the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), I was offered a position as Professor at The Norwegian TV School based in Lillehammer where I teach future TV professionals how to develop ideas based on proved methods and structured processes. I get such a lot of energy from being with young students, and learn so much.
I have facilitated hundreds of workshops during my days at NRK, and know that this experiences often have great value to others. I have written two textbooks in Norwegian; one on Idea Development in Media, the second on TV Formats (both in Norwegian only so far).
I am based in Oslo but happy to travel to wherever you are!

–I’ve received excellent feedback from your presentation from staff and students– so thank you so much again. Your enthusiasm was infectious and put us all in a good mood!

–Ole Hedemann was the first one to make my students discover user research as a creative resource for film makers. Due to his well-thought approach, suddenly audiences turn from numbers into graspable characters that inspire format ideas beyond our own bubbles.»
Björn Stockleben, Professor of New Media Production, Filmuniverität Babelsberg, Berlin
-Ole has unique candour and great ability to provide critique and constructive advice at the same time. He is extremely knowledgeable about modern TV and has a passion for creativity. The whole learning experience with Ole was fantastic and greatly appreciated by the students and me.
